7. permitted areas of offer (list of goods)

The goods to be exhibited must correspond to the list of goods.

8. specialized trade area or direct sales

Faszination Modellbau is not a “sales show”, but an exhibition whose profile must not be changed. The direct sale of goods is therefore only permitted in accordance with the following provisions: Generally permitted for direct sale are publishing products and products from in-house production by small series manufacturers, which are not sold through the relevant model construction trade.

Upon application, merchandise of the relevant model building industry will be admitted for direct sale, the sale of which should be carried out by authorized model building dealers. The application must be submitted to the organizer with the stand registration. Upon application, all manufacturers whose merchandise will be distributed during the exhibition must be fully and correctly identified. The organizer decides on the admission with the participation of the existing exhibitor advisory board. There is no legal claim to admission.

The sales area available for specialized trade is limited to a total of approx. 500 sqm. Of these, approx. 250 square meters are devoted to the area of “model cars, aircraft, ships and accessories” and approx. 250 square meters to the area of “model trains, cardboard and plastic model making and accessories”. Subletting of the stand space rented there is not permitted. The sale must not be carried out using propagandistic means that could disturb the character of the event. Therefore, corresponding signs such as “direct sales”, the use of microphones and loudspeakers are prohibited. Hospitality booths, raffles, lotteries and contests are also prohibited. The organizer may, at his discretion, grant an exemption in individual cases upon written application.

9. design and equipment of the exhibition stand

In terms of a high-quality exhibition, the following minimum equipment standards for an exhibition stand should be taken into account.

9.1. Each exhibitor must build his own side or back walls on his stand space or order them from the stand construction company.

9.2. The sale of goods must be made through a sales counter.

9.3. Storage of goods presented for sale may not be in banana boxes or similar.

9.4. In addition, in the case of an open stand construction, it is mandatory to cover the stand area with a carpet or similar floor covering.

9.5. It is not allowed to place sales stands outside the stand area.

9.6. Sufficient stand lighting must be provided.

If you do not have a suitable stand, we will be happy to offer you a complete stand (all-round carefree package, 35,- €/sqm), or you can order suitable stand walls separately (30,- €/sqm) etc. using our online ordering system no later than 2 weeks before the trade fair.

We would like to point out that if your stand construction, does not meet the specified conditions, the organizer is entitled, for example, missing stand walls or carpeting at the expense of the exhibitor. Further information on the design of the stand can be found in our General Exhibition Terms and Conditions under item 11.

10. stand construction permit (stand heights)

Assuming that the conditions of participation and the technical guidelines of the trade fair location are complied with in the design and construction of the stand, no stand construction permit will be issued by the organizer!

The normal height for stand structures is 2.50 m. A maximum height of 3.50 m is allowed without permission from the stand neighbor!

For stand components, flags or suspensions higher than 3.50 m, which are located within a zone of 1 m distance from the neighboring stand, written consent from the neighboring stand owners concerned is required.

The rear sides of the outer stand walls (sides facing the neighboring stand within 1 m of the neighboring stand) from a height of 2.50 m are only permitted in a neutral design (no advertising or other lettering).

This approval must be obtained independently by the exhibitor or the company commissioned by the exhibitor and must be presented at the organizer’s request during set-up.

To do this, download the corresponding hall plan from the homepage of the respective trade fair and note down the adjacent stand numbers and use the stand number to find the contact details of your stand neighbors in the exhibitor directory!
