Mainburg terminus<\/strong> A special modular layout with many original replicas of the former branch line was put together for the trade fair.<br \/>\nStarting from the most important Mainburg station with the large hop halls, the route runs through the former operating stations and striking sections of the Hallertau.<br \/>\nA lot of information about the prototype, pictures, stories and anecdotes can be found directly on the layout and thus enable a complete immersion in the time of the 50s &#8211; 70s.<br \/>\nThe locomotives are equipped with sound and all passenger carriages are realistically aged and fitted with figures and interior lighting.<br \/>\nNumerous &#8220;red buttons&#8221; on the front of the modules encourage you to press them.<br \/>\nIt will be exciting to try them out and see what happens!<br \/>\nOf course, the club members are always ready to answer visitors&#8217; uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;775981&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;196093&#8243;]<strong>H0 gauge: Large modular layout with double-track main line<\/strong> The H0 layout on display is part of a large modular layout with many beautifully landscaped modules.<br \/>\nIt consists of a double-track main line with a single-track branch line.<br \/>\nTrains up to a length of 8 meters can run on the main line as they can be parked in the two large hairpin bends.<br \/>\nThis means that nothing stands in the way of a full-scale 4000-metre long ore train called &#8220;Langer Heinrich&#8221;, as it ran between Emden and the Ruhr area in its day, consisting of two steam locomotives and 50 bulk goods wagons.<br \/>\nThere are two railroad stations on the branch line, one of which is designed as a turnback station.<br \/>\nAnother group of modules on the main line shows a small district with an adjacent funfair.<br \/>\nTrucks and buses run in the town using a digital car system.<br \/>\nThe funfair consists of a marquee, Ferris wheel, various stalls, bumper cars and a Ferris wheel with corresponding background noise and lighting effects.<br \/>\nVehicles in two-wire (Fleischmann, Roco, Trix) and three-wire technology (M\u00e4rklin) run simultaneously on the entire layout, which is unlikely to be found in this form on any other model railway layout.<br \/>\nAll rolling stock is controlled manually on the layout using digital technology. <strong>Operator:<\/strong> Bergische Eisenbahn-Freunde e.V., D-51688 Wipperf\u00fcrth <strong>Layout size:<\/strong> 23 x 10 meters[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_gallery el_id=&#8221;gallery-334391&#8243; From Emathal through the Kolketal to Pohlen<\/strong> The ModellBahnTeam Osnabr\u00fcck e.V. has been building this large segment layout since 2002.<br \/>\nA large part of the layout has been replaced or renewed by the members in recent years, so that the current layout has completely changed its appearance.<br \/>\nThe H0 layout comprises an electrified main line and a large main station with stabling facilities.<br \/>\nA branch line also branches off here.<br \/>\nTrains are shunted, staged and parked in the station.<br \/>\nAll digitally controlled and automated.<br \/>\nShunting locomotives bring local trains to the platform tracks, push finished wagon fleets into the stabling facilities or deliver the corresponding wagons to the main post office.<br \/>\nFreight and passenger trains run in wide curves through the countryside on the parade route.        The main line passes under the idyllic half-timbered village of Pohlen, which has a small station on the branch line. The entire system is automated and the trains run according to a timetable. uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;123684&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;129586&#8243;]<strong>H0 gauge: Rail Innovation, small Leipzig<\/strong> In addition to a shortened version of the Leipzig railroad station, several well-known Leipzig buildings can be discovered on a scale of 1:87 and in between there is the hustle and bustle of the big city that we are all familiar with.<br \/>\nIn addition to trains, which are true to the original with chronic delays, and streetcars, numerous CarMotion vehicles such as trucks can be observed on the road as they make their way through the city past the fire station, the bus station and the Westin Hotel.<br \/>\nThe fleet includes original Viessmann models as well as converted stationary models.<br \/>\nThese can travel a total distance of 173.5m.<br \/>\nA large fairground and a stadium have been created at the rear of the layout.<br \/>\nWhile over 25,000 people celebrate in the stadium, the rides on the fairground shine in all colors of light thanks to thousands of SMDs.<br \/>\nIn addition to over-the-counter kits, you can also see self-constructed rides that were produced using 3D printers. <strong>Operator:<\/strong> Rail Innovation, Roberto Mario Haufe, D-04821 Brandis <strong>Ride size:<\/strong> 11.5 m x 4.5 m[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_gallery el_id=&#8221;gallery-334391&#8243; uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;118362&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;118471&#8243;]<strong>H0 gauge: Freight operation as in the prototype in Era 3<\/strong> The U-shaped layout shows in detail the freight operation of the DB in the 1960s.<br \/>\nThis means, starting from the provision of the locomotive in the depot, to the composition of the freight trains at the hump, to the departure onto the track.<br \/>\nLocomotive handling is shown in detail for all types of traction.<br \/>\nThe operational locomotives take over the freight train in the marshalling yard.<br \/>\nThis was put together in advance via the hump.<br \/>\nExtensive detailing is very important to the builders.<br \/>\nFor example, the interior of both roundhouse sheds has been completely reproduced.<br \/>\nThis is why the shed roofs are not covered in some areas so that visitors can get a good view.<br \/>\nAnother highlight is the hump with eight functional track brakes.<br \/>\nAs with the prototype, the wheelsets of the wagons are gripped by the brake shoes and slowed down. <strong>Operator:<\/strong> Eisenbahnfreunde Tuttlingen e.V., D-78234 Engen <strong>Layout size:<\/strong> 16.7 x 9.7 m[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_gallery el_id=&#8221;gallery-334391&#8243; (Green Sweden) layout shows a detailed representation of a Swedish landscape with prototypical trains.<br \/>\nThe layout includes a wide range of elements that reflect the Swedish landscape.<br \/>\nThe natural environment is characterized by hills and forests.<br \/>\nLakes run through the terrain and capture the typical Scandinavian flair.<br \/>\nGreat importance was attached to realistic landscaping.<br \/>\nThe landscape is clearly in the foreground of this layout.<br \/>\nThe houses are built in the traditional Swedish style.<br \/>\nOf course, the &#8220;Michel from L\u00f6nneberga&#8221; and the &#8220;Katulthof&#8221; cannot be missing in the middle of this scenery.<br \/>\nFor the first time, almost all parts of the substructure are manufactured on our CNC milling machine.<br \/>\nThe landscape will be shown to its best advantage with a continuous background and its own lighting. <strong>Operator:<\/strong> IG Modellbahn Neuhausen e.V., D-78570 M\u00fchlheim <strong>Layout size:<\/strong> 8.4 x 1.6 m[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_gallery el_id=&#8221;gallery-334391&#8243; uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;207052&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=&#8221;1\/1&#8243;][vc_column_text uncode_shortcode_id=&#8221;923604&#8243;]<strong>H0 gauge: Vogelsberger Westbahn<\/strong> The Vogelsberger Westbahn was the jubilee layout for the 50th anniversary of Miba magazine in 1998.<br \/>\nIt was originally built by Michael Meinhold and 7 colleagues.<br \/>\nSebastian Koch and Heiko Herholz took over the layout and have extensively renovated it in recent months.<br \/>\nThe H0 model will be presented to the public for the first time in Friedrichshafen.<br \/>\nThe branch line layout revolves around the Laubach (Oberhessen) station and the Laubacher-Wald stop.<br \/>\nIn the prototype, passenger service on the charming branch line ended in 1959.<br \/>\nThe model in Friedrichshafen therefore recreates Era III in true style.<br \/>\nBuildings and track systems were created according to the actual prototypes based on historical documents.<br \/>\nFramed in a hilly landscape with many details, the railroad operation can be experienced by the observer.<br \/>\nThe layout has been technically overhauled and can now be controlled digitally with an automatic system.<br \/>\n&#8220;Westbahner&#8221; station with its large station concourse and adjoining depot for steam and diesel vehicles.<br \/>\nThe layout is set in Era III, when the German Federal Railroad began to convert to the new EDP numbering system.<br \/>\nA shuttle service is operated on the outgoing single-track branch line with terminal station.<br \/>\nAt present, the layout consists of 10 designed track modules (172 x 120 cm &amp; 140 x 120 cm) and 6 staging yard modules with a total length of 11.00 m.<br \/>\n11.00 m in length, offering space for 16 train sets.<br \/>\nIn the current layout, the staging yard is completely visible to visitors, who are welcome to ask questions about the layout.<br \/>\nThe 3-conductor system is run with M\u00e4rklin K-track with slim turnouts.<br \/>\nThe M\u00e4rklin Centralstation 3 and the &#8220;Win-Digipet&#8221;
